TFS Services (Azure) online ad available

11 10 2011

It has been made available the Azure version of the Microsoft TFS (Team Foundation Services), also known as TFS Services preview. You can create a free account with a live account and use it in your projects. For the time beeing it is free. I don’t have an idea of the business model of this offer, so don’t crussify me if it changes from free to something else :).

Acess it at

BTW, I’m already using it with several projects and my feeling for it is that it is great! Source control is stable. Remaining available features are quite stable. Other features should be released over time.

Azure under the hood

23 12 2010

Recently I came accross a fabulous presentation on Azure. By now, you are going YAAP, which stands for “here he goes on Yeat Another Azure Presentation”. Trust me on this, ok? The presentation was done at last TechEd by Mark Russinovich (the guy that started Sysinternals and is now an Azure Architect). If you ever seen one of his presentation, you know that he usually goes deep, but they are always very good presentations. This one, presents you the working blocks of Azure, including some demos on how things happen behind the curtain.

You can access the presentation here:
